OUR STORY

Our founder David is a visionary and expert evolving the floristry scenery in London for more than 20 years now. During his exceptional career, he has mastered identifying the customers’ problems. One of his first goals was to make flowers more accessible for Londoners. The inspiration for that was born out of his personal struggles to find flowers late after work and his motivation to create a magical place for flowers to “blossom” in London’s urban landscape.

Based on his honest efforts and motivations, his floristry business has branched out considerably with a garden centre and café in Hampstead Garden Suburb that turned into an enjoyment hub and a place to find tranquility out of the big city life. That 'home of the flowers' also hosts the Flower School created by David aiming to introduce more people into the magic of floristry. Today we are known and offer our flowers in the whole UK.

Letterbuds is a natural progression of his aim to make high-quality fresh flowers more affordable for the customers. The affordability and the freshness have been achieved by sourcing fresh stems directly from farms using the brand’s wholesale division - Badais International.

    Letterbuds is more of a family than a company where we put the satisfaction and needs of our clients above anything else. We believe that a happy customer equals happy company. Our mission is to deliver freshest stems at the most affordable prices.

  • Sustainability

    We aim to make our supply chain sustainable by sourcing our flowers directly from our partner growers. We have also taught ourselves to keep the warehouse inventory in equilibrium with the demand of the market. This way we reduce the waste. In case we have more flowers at our warehouse, we offer them at a discount price to prevent them going in the bin. And as you might have guessed - our letterbox packaging is 100% recyclable.

    The truly pleasant customer experience requires each member of our team to work in an atmosphere of respect, dignity, and acceptance. We are committed to creating an atmosphere of diversity and creativity. That's why we continuously ensure our interactions are respectful and family-like

  • Charity

    We work along with MenCap charity and we donate £1 of every Bastille letterbox we sell. Mencap works with people with learning disabilities, their families and carers. We believe that people with a learning disability have the right to enjoy equal opportunities and be valued as members of society, enabling them to lead the life they want for themselves.
